Grossly Misleading Unemployment Claims Information

For more than a year in America, around half the economy was driven entirely by unemployment benefits provided by the government. The state's benefit, on top of the federal government's supplement, was said to be around 48% of the entire business commerce economy, meaning things like buying groceries and patronizing local businesses. So much of this was provided by government benefits that not only did the bottom fall out when the federal benefit stopped, but inflation immediately started spiking to compensate for the loss of that income. Everyone in America knows how important those benefits were, which is why it's very weird now that the mainstream media is releasing grossly inaccurate and misleading reports about fewer Americans filing benefit claims.

According to the mainstream American press this week, namely Forbes, there's a very great thing happening in America. Fewer Americans are filing for jobless benefits now since pre-pandemic levels, and all the glory and credit of these fantastic numbers goes directly to Joe Biden and his "perfect presidency", as CNN put it. Jobless claims fell to 2.7 million in October, and Team Biden is doing cartwheels in the streets while claiming that America's unemployment is actually the lowest it's been in generations.

However, this is a demonstrable and blatant lie. It's such an outlandish lie, in fact, that pre-2012, it would have been called propaganda and liable to criminal action. It really is a despicable thing to tell Americans that unemployment is low just because job benefits are low.

The fact is that jobless benefits have expired for more Americans than the number of Americans who have ever been on jobless benefits. The federal benefit is entirely gone, which meant that millions fewer could apply. Then you have people who've been out of work far longer than the state benefits allow. So, what you have here is a case where fewer people are eligible to reply, so they cannot. That the mainstream media would lie about this is a crazy thing.

Why Would the Media Lie?

Pointing out the fact that America's mainstream corporate press runs interference for Joe Biden is just that; stating a fact. No one would deny America's media is biased, and in fact half of the entire nation believes that it should be biased and that the entire purpose of America's media is to progress social issues and effect social change. Though whether or not this change is for the better is up for opinion, apparently, as in their quest to effect this change, the media is outright lying and claiming that fewer Americans are unemployed than really are.

Whether it's specifically for Joe Biden's benefit or for any other reason, the facts are the facts, and the media is not reporting these facts.

What are the Real Numbers?

Anywhere between 10 and 20 million Americans are unemployed. These numbers are hard to track. After a certain point, the government literally stops counting some people as unemployed. For instance, the willfully unemployed are not counted, nor are people who have been unemployed for a year or more. People who recently lost their jobs and are looking for jobs are counted, and that number is somewhere between 10 and 20 million. Whatever the real number is, it sure isn't 2.7 million like the mainstream media is now trying to claim.

There are more people unemployed in California and Texas than 2.7 million, and America has 48 more states to count.

Things May Get Worse

The sad fact in all of this mess is that things might get a lot worse for Americans with these economic policies and these inflation rates. Sadly, there are a lot more companies wanting to leave America than companies trying to get into the country. Plus you have to factor in the ongoing surge of people just flatly walking out on their jobs because they want more money.

COVID mandates are also a big factor here. Tens of thousands of nurses, airline employees, and much more have been fired. For whatever reasons, the government will not count them. Perhaps they aren't allowed to file for jobless claims, which means the Biden administration could have a 40% unemployment rate and only count 4% of them.

America refuses to properly count unemployed Americans. It's highly unlikely that the government would treat them well with proper benefits.
